爱德华·汉威(H. E dward Hanway )
于2000年12月被任命为美国信诺保险集团董事会主席。

汉威于1978年加入北美洲保险公司
(Insurance Company of North America)
—信诺集团前身公司之一，任特殊风险部助理财务总监。
1980年起任该公司负责财产－责任险相关财务的助理副总裁。
1985年8月，他被任命为信诺财产－责任险的
国际和经纪人部高级副总裁。

一年后，汉威被提升为信诺集团副总裁，
负责运营计划和监控，
1988年9月以后，进而负责集团的财务和计划。

1989年2月，他被任命为信诺国际总裁，
此间，他为保险和金融服务行业的国际合作
以及美国企业与其他国家企业的合作做出了重要贡献。

1993年5月至1995年5月，
汉威当选为国际保险委员会(IIC)主席，
之后又任该委员会负责贸易政策的副主席。
他还曾是美国国际企业委员会理事和执行委员会成员，
以及美国太平洋经济合作全国委员会董事会成员。
1996年2月起，他一直任信诺健康医疗险的总裁、
